This is for comrade F.U.C.K.C.O.L who contributes to RAF666underground. Enjoy, brother.

Obviously it is here up for grabs for anyone who might be interested in some raw & crude, ugly & old school real Colombian black metal. I got this in late 1995 from one of my tape trader friends and to speak the truth I wasn't very much into it. Later I learned to appreciate it's primitive, occult charm. The sound is quite good despite the tape's age, a certain hissing is present but it's not bad. As for the recording itself, it has clear rehearsal-like sound, entirely passable for a black metal demo. This isn't one of my more literate days so I'll quit typing here, take it or leave it.

I like this demos, there is no bass, bud is amazing the atmosphere that creates...

Thanks for share it...

PD: Does you have a exchange list or something...

Velkaarn kirjoitti...

Yes the atmosphere is evil! I recently ripped the demo of Mexico's Torment, it has similar feeling to this. I will post that one soon.

You mean like a trade list? No, I quit tape trading about ten years ago and haven't bothered listing stuff since. All the old tape lists are probably gone too by now.

Do you have more colombian stuff?

Velkaarn kirjoitti...

Yeah, I've got some but not that much rare stuff. I'll post some soon.

@Heathcliff:

Thanks for the links! I was aware of Leviatan changing their name but haven't heard the material they released as Opvs, downloading the split now! As for Apolion's Genocide, I've known them for some time and love the first demo, great doomy old school black metal feeling! It has this occult quality to it. I'd be curious to hear their 2nd demo "Selaicnetsixe Samgidarap" do you have it and is it similar to the 1st one? I guess they've changed quite a lot on the later releases?

Heathcliff kirjoitti...

Yeah, I got the following demos through the compilation "Years Ago ", which had the "Selaicnetsixe Samgidarap" spelled backwards "Existentials Paradigms"(from the Spanish, "Paradigmas Existenciales", even the first demo is also spelled backwards, meaning "Satan instructs a disciple" ("Olupicsid Nu A Anedro Sathanas").

The second demo is more black doomish/Folk, in the American Pre-Columbian(Native Indigenous Culture, with flutes and some native drums) and only have two, really excelent songs both(regardless the change of genre). For the third and last demo, they abandon the black and metal way, and go into more folk progressive way, sometimes like empyrium or the old Ulver(Without electric guitar), For some, the change is not good(for me is a great evolution of the musicians, the music have a excellent feeling, and leave the grunts and classical metal stereotypes, for a folk tribute to south american ancient culture).

There is the First Song of the Demo (Funerary Temple, played in some underground place, jaja), but it is incomplete compared to original demo.

I can exchange the full cd compilation(Mp3 of course), but I'm abstracted of release it for the internet world... let me know what you think...

Regards, and and excuse me for my selfish response.

@Heathcliff:

Thanks for the info on the other material - I'm certain I'd enjoy the second demo's material and possibly the 3rd one too. But we'll see if you can share the compilation with me. If you're hesitant, I won't upload it anywhere if you don't want so.

Though I owe comrade TD the second demo, so I'd need to upload that part at least to him. You can send me an email to my hotmail account, it's velkaarn at.

Check out the Nebiros rehearsal, by the way!

Ok I got it now, you may delete the upload! Thanks!

Those French bands are not familiar to me but I'll see what I can do about them.
